Bloody Valentine

It's like a rollercoaster ride this week, a mixture of excitment, nerve, worry, happiness and sadness. Crazy job interviews are driving me crazy, things are looking up here, but I'm not gonna say that much now, coz it can really jinx me to hell.

To all the couple, happy valentine's day. No offence to this special day, the reason I put this topic up is all because a nurse said happy valentine's to me while doing blood test on me this afternoon, and I just get back to her "yea Bloody Valentine's to me right now!! ewww~". Then I started to think "Hmm, I'm bloody creative or what? gotta put this bloody sweet line on my bloody blog!" So yea... I got wit.

I've been digging myself to some retro 80's, damn I'm like soooooooo gonna perm my hair like those 80's chicks, and put on a black leather jacket with a short skirt, then walk out to the street and sing "I NEED SOME HOT STUFF GIVE IT TO ME NOW!~" Yes, this part of daydreaming really hype me up. Even though Shane said 'Total Eclipse Of My Heart' is a mad fu*k up song only for girls who have a problem, I still like it very much. So go away you Bonnie Tyler hater!! OK, let's clear this up in case you really think I'm a HOPELESS chick, I don't have a problem and I think 'RESPECT' is my top 1 80's... FU*KIN' BELIEVE ME!

Speaking of good music, I wanna said thanks to Nick from Nonzero Records, Bluebottle Kiss latest single and the album sample are on my hand now. Great Aussie band they are, people should check it out if you got a chance.

Suppose To Be Funny

What is going on here? After me and my brother, yesterday my dad was the one who enjoy the hopitality in the emergency. He had vomited more than 10 times with serious dizziness, doc said he got balance disorder. I was like "is it like motion sickness or something?", he went "well, that times... five." I didn't get it "five. how serious is five?" after a helpless explanaiton, he finally gave me the best conclusion, "OK, it's like after you drank 10 shots of tequlia at once, your head couldn't stop swinging and you feel like totally fucked." then I went "arrrr....!"

Anyway, I really think this is jinx or something. I said to my mom, "Jeez mom! It was me, then Tom (my bro), now is dad! who's the next?" (staring at my mom with a smirk) Then she wemt "well, it won't happen, I was in the hopital few months before you back to Hong Kong." I was very shocked! but then I went "oh! very well then."

Well, let's move on to something else.

got an email from a friend responding to my china trip, she said I should go to Guilin and Yangsok. I actually had been there when I was a kid, and I still remember how my dad accidentally pushed me down the stair. (I ain't kidding!! it was fookin' steep too) But well, after she sent me this link (http://nwn.myweb.hinet.net/index2.htm - it's a chinese site, but just pay attention to the pictures), it does ignite my heart to go there again, I mean, c'mon look at this!

Yea, I wouldn't doubt that the pictures in that site have been through Photoshop, but I do believe there's place like this. Because I have seen them before, only with a crappy weather. Anyone wanna join? Let's do it!! (after I have enough money.)

Let's Keep It Simple

I went to China for a week trip, just get back last nite! I went to Huizhou and Foshan, which is located on the southeast side of China, pretty cool place with a bit of mix of heaven and hell. My trip was basically very art-related, seeing all the oil paintings, some Ceramic art, lantern festival and some heritages. If you wanna check out the pictures:

I think the most amazing thing is how I found this cherry blssom land behind the temple, and I sat down there for like an hour. I started to think about my life and people around me, while holding a string of cherry blossom.

I mean, it's like a natural landscape that release my soul from the body, and I finally stopped thinking of anything and just lied down there as if invisible. For that moment, I'm separated from the world, it's heaven...

P.S. This morning I realised that my toothbrush went missing, and found out my brother took it to his trip in US. Damn!

Never Know You Good Enough

The following email extract is responding to my old post about black christianity inspired from the film 'Rize':

"hey baby, just read your blog, so freakin' interesting!!! but there are a lot of black people in africa, south america, all over the world that are christian not just in america. i think it originated with the european missionaries going to africa, mid-east, north and central america. you're right that black christians in america is cultural, they have their own music called gospel. but it's european culture that originally created this particular branch of black christianity and it's slowly evolved to become fully american. don't get me wrong, it's still annoying sometimes, especially when they preach at you and you don't care what the hell they're on about! i think it's the worse when they're born-again christians...anyway, babe, just wanted to pass that info on to you...love ya, kath xxx"
(Email received on Tue, 24 Jan 2006 09:17:22 -0800)

First of all, big up to Kath for telling me such an interesting historical fact, this actually tells me something. There're so many things that's unreal or uncertain, but it's always rumors and fantasies that makes it real, in other word, romanticism. What can I say? We are so creative and full of imagination. Oh Jesus! What did the Da Vinci Code tell us could be the fact in the future, if we keep believing... soon or later, Dan Brown will become the father of God too, who would know that he is just a writer who's inspired by pure fantasies?

Well, the point being is, if you see a preacher, don't listen to them. Coz they don't even know whether what they believe is real or not, they just think it is so. Believe in what you think it is real, yea it could confuse your life, but at least you are not living in a lie.

But then, I don't mind religions exist in the society, even though I'm an anti-religious person. Because I understand there're people who need religious, people who don't wanna be lost, who want a light to guide their life... (even it's a lie) That's human-being, we need love, and love is god, and god is uncertain/nowhere, and the substitution is religion, coz religion is love from god. So who care about the damn romanticism?

A piece of advice, There's nothing we know good enough, unless we creat it.

No, not asking you to be God, but this is your life, so make your own fookin' path! Whatever you believe I don't care, just don't preach me.
