Turku, Estonia and Thailand

I really didn't spend much time here, but I've been doing so much and I'm gonna tell ya now. The whole september was full of plans that I don't even have much time to catch my breathe, and it's probably worse in October, oh well!!

September, I've been hanging out with Suvi most of the time in Finland. But I also went to Turku with Catherine in the beginning of this month, it was an expensive trip, but we still had lots of fun seeing some other side of finland. Turku is the former capital of Finland, so there're quite many historical stuff and heritages. We took an express train there cost 30 euro one god damn way, pfff... But the view was absolutely spectacular, you see a nature side of a scandinavian country, it was full of wheat as if we were sailing on a yellow sea. gorgeous.

All the way from the train station to downtown was a shock, we both popped up a silly question in our head "did we just travel back in time???" It looks like a town back to 80's, this place is old skool!!! Anyhow, we visited some churches, some statues, and the outside of turku castle (because the opening hour has passed! F***!). One of the best spots is the Dom (or Doom) church, it's a huge church kept expanding for more knight grave, so yea, basically it's a cemetery for the noooooble. I also like the whale tail fountain very much, I dun really know if that hides any meaning, but is one real cool tail!

Let's move on, Trip to Estonia was with Suvi. Got up 5am in the morning and went to meet up Suvi in the misty bus stop. It was cold and sprinkling, I was so worried that the weather might turn out shit. Three hours on the ferry moved us from the pouring dogs and cats to sunny Estonia! PHEW~! Tallinn was bloody beautiful, it should be as a tourist spot, everywhere were full taste of Medieval mix with Russian designs.

After some churches visiting and street wandering, we went to meet up with Suvi's friend Ani. He is a very nice buddy, even he had a stress out day, was still being so friendly to me. Suvi said he is a funny man, he can make everything sounds like they are originally from Estonia. That actually reminds me 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding', how's the papa always says everything is originally from Greece. Interesting huh?

Anyway, Ani said we should go out of Tallinn and experience the real Estonia, so he recommended us to one of this Russian restaurant, which is just around the train station outside Tallinn. Once we walked in, it was like a old skool fastfood shop. People are all very grass-roots - old women, site worker, family...etc. Food wasn't that great, but it was very interesting to see all this different faces, except that Suvi wasn't feeling too comfortable. :p

Headed back to Tallinn, we went to this painter avenue, that artists hang up their drawings on the wall for sale, that was so cool! The whole ordinary street has all in the sudden become a gallery, my eyes has turned from fatigue to sparkling! Then we had a drink in Olde Hansa, this is a medival restaurant that a New Zealand passenger friend Aaron introduce to me. Place was awesome, they use all the handmade ceramic kitchen ware, we were served by people in medieval costume, and the whole restaurant (inside and outside) were full of "lord of the ring" choir music, it was absolutely facinating! I had a cup of coffee and Suvi went for a cinnamon Beer, both were bloody nice! God I wish I could go there one more time!

After Estonia, I actually go to Thailand straight after I flew back to Hong Kong. Get change, had a nice breakfast in MIX, a small nap and a bit of chat with my mom to reassure her about the Thai's political change and my boyfriend Henning about where to meet up and so on (yes, I'm going with him - our first vacation), then off i head to the flight.

I have to wait for Henning's flight almost an hour, and he's there then I realised he's in another terminal. Thanks to the nice Thai people show me how to get there, without a problem I met my sweetheart and off we go to our hotel. Henning has planned all the hotels, and they were all very impressive. Hotels in Bangkok, he picked all the "art hotel" = all the rooms were designed by different artist, and all the rooms were so cool, but as a leo, I've picked a red room. haha.

We also headed to Hua Hin for a nice beach and some sun, place was so nice and hotel was still very impressive, except the fact that I couldn't get into the sea, since there's millions and billions of jellyfish swimming around. argghhhh!! It's alright, Henning took me to some very nice restaurant, we headed to a place called Bed supper, where we eat in bed, ohlala. What's more exciting is they have this "surprise dinner" nite, where we dunno what's the menu, we just eat and guess, after we all finish the food, the restaurant will put the dishes name on the over-projector. It was so cool and none of the dishes was ever disappointing, they were all bloody excellent. God I really enjoy that.

Well, I really didn't take much photos in Thailand, because what we do were just eat around and sunbathing. Sorry guys, but if you wanna see more pictures, check out my
photo album 7.

Picture About Her

August has a lot of things happened around me, some are good and some are bad, but generally I'm a very happy girl. The last post, as you can see, there're are so many pictures uploaded, first two albums was about my birthday, you probably have read the details in my past post.

And about Heini, she is the first Finnish friend I met in my training, gorgeous person. However, didn't see her since after my training was finished, so this time when I realised we were both working on the same plane to HK, that really excited me.

Despite I was very sick, we did manage to hang out most of the time. It's great to see how she was amazed by the view of my city, and of course the low price of all the clothes, shoes, accesories, bags and so on. Anyway, I really had fun with her.

p.s. I love swedish bands.
