Never Know You Good Enough

The following email extract is responding to my old post about black christianity inspired from the film 'Rize':

"hey baby, just read your blog, so freakin' interesting!!! but there are a lot of black people in africa, south america, all over the world that are christian not just in america. i think it originated with the european missionaries going to africa, mid-east, north and central america. you're right that black christians in america is cultural, they have their own music called gospel. but it's european culture that originally created this particular branch of black christianity and it's slowly evolved to become fully american. don't get me wrong, it's still annoying sometimes, especially when they preach at you and you don't care what the hell they're on about! i think it's the worse when they're born-again christians...anyway, babe, just wanted to pass that info on to you...love ya, kath xxx"

First of all, big up to Kath for telling me such an interesting historical fact, this actually tells me something. There're so many things that's unreal or uncertain, but it's always rumors and fantasies that makes it real, in other word, romanticism. What can I say? We are so creative and full of imagination. Oh Jesus! What did the Da Vinci Code tell us could be the fact in the future, if we keep believing... soon or later, Dan Brown will become the father of God too, who would know that he is just a writer who's inspired by pure fantasies?

Well, the point being is, if you see a preacher, don't listen to them. Coz they don't even know whether what they believe is real or not, they just think it is so. Believe in what you think it is real, yea it could confuse your life, but at least you are not living in a lie.

But then, I don't mind religions exist in the society, even though I'm an anti-religious person. Because I understand there're people who need religious, people who don't wanna be lost, who want a light to guide their life... (even it's a lie) That's human-being, we need love, and love is god, and god is uncertain/nowhere, and the substitution is religion, coz religion is love from god. So who care about the damn romanticism?

A piece of advice, There's nothing we know good enough, unless we creat it.

No, not asking you to be God, but this is your life, so make your own fookin' path! Whatever you believe I don't care, just don't preach me.
