Handstand On A Sting
God, I just realised that is 5:00am now and I am still playing my guitar. What so exciting about this is that I can play two of my favorite songs - 405 by Death Cab For Cutie and New Slang by The Shins. Look at the tablature, they are very easy to play and I was so amazed that such a beautiful song is played by me and my accoustic guitar. I couldn't help it, cut off all my nails of my left hand and keep playing until I can feel the pain on my fingertips.
Went to have dinner with my Pauly in a very local Italian Pizza shop at Potts Point today, we got the take away and sat in the park that facing the sea. Very nice view, I wish I could stay a bit longer for this beautiful view, but seems like the decision of going back to HK is getting very concrete now. I shouldn't start this conversation with Pauly, since what left behind was the frustration, especially to close friend like him, it really wasn't very nice. But Paul my darling, our deal of backpacking is still on! Once I saved enough money, let's just go! *wink*
After dinner with Pauly, I went to a cabaret show with Lezel, Thymen and Brisha in Vanguard, the show is starred by David Hawkins, who has been performed in cabaret a very long time, as well as many theatre plays. Lezel got to know him during Sydney Festival, so we went there to support. This is my very first time to see a cabaret show and first time to vanguard, according to my purely virgin experience, I just love it so much. I can tell David is a big David Bowie fan, Lezel also noticed that one of the song is the theme song of CSI New York, how funny...! But it was very very KOOL to see one of his special guests - Paul Capsis, he is in Ana Kokkinos' film "Head On", I did a presentation on it before and I was talking about the character that he plays in this film. It's very exciting to see him in real person, love the way he said "Malaka~"
Back home in midnite, started to chat with Kenny. When we talk about depression and happiness, I was so surprised what I said to him, have these words walked through my brain before it walks out from my mouth? Let me put an extract here:
K: i am really doubt what is all about happiness...i really am not sure about it to me once you raise it up...
F:oh... i mean, it could be a painful thing to ask about the meaning of happiness, but if we could really find it, everything would be more truthful and concrete. I got depressed all the time, all because of my stupid curiosity about life.
K: me too ...recently i read a book call outsider...it's really hits my nerve... i can get what you mean like when you feel happy...everything seems to be perfect for you no matter what it really is or not...but...
F: The scary thing is after this "orgasm of happiness" has passed, and u realised that's not really good enough for an "orgasm of happiness" and u began to question urself about it, eventually this emptiness just fill up all the space, which could be even worse. but well, perhaps it is just a process to make you to use your words more appropriately.
K: so happiness is not something eternal, rite?
F: well, let me put it this way, you could never find happiness as an eternal destination, coz happiness is never a destination, it is a journal. that's how i perceive happiness...
Alright, time to get back to my guitar! I wish I could play all the songs by Death Cab For Cutie now, am I asking too much? God I love this band so much, DCFC rules.

The glove compartment isn't accurately named and everybody knows it.
So i'm proposing a swift orderly change.
Cause behind its door there's nothing to keep my fingers warm and all i find are souvenirs from better times.

I was searching for some legal document as the rain beat down on the hood.
When i stumbled upon pictures i tried to forget and that's how this idea was drilled into my head
